Missing part of my brain today

I think today is another one of those days. Everything seems to have gone wrong, or at least not how I wanted it to go. I know I'm a bit of a perfectionist though, so even if one thing isn't quite right I feel like the whole day's a right-off (especially where my eating is concerned).

Anyway, I decided to start healthily with a tin of pineapple for breakfast. A nice Del Monte tin, with a pull lid. The lid would only open half way and I couldn't get the pineapple rings out, so I put my hand, stupidly, on the edge of the lid to pull it back and nearly sliced my thumb off. It wouldn't stop bleeding for what seemed like ages, so I gave up on the fruit idea and skipped breakfast.

I went to Homebase to get a lamp for my desk (to help with my 'productivity', you can't study in the dark!) I had a £5 voucher to use, and took along a 15% off voucher I printed from the internet. Stupid me - the voucher I took to Homebase was actually for B&Q. Still, the woman at the till thought it was funny...

I went to Tesco and bought some nibbles, only to come home and find they were out of date 2 weeks ago.

Yep, it's another one of those days... Just makes me want to go back to bed!
