Unfortunately the weather now looks rather miserable over our house - grey clouds are coming in, but I can see some sunshine peeping out. Fingers crossed the 'summer' comes back, and soon! We're just doing a bit more cleaning up...

Hey, hope everyone's well! I've been very busy lately with a bit of online 'work' (doesn't earn much but it's better than nothing!) as well as the usual surveys, and we've had a big spring clean to get rid of the...

I posted last week about Groupola to recommend checking it out for good deals on activities, restaurants, spa days etc, and said I'd give an update after I'd bought something to tell you how I got on. Well, I saw a years unlimited d...

Hellooo, hope everyone's well! I'm so glad to say the sun is shining again today where I am, so hopefully that'll give me a little boost to get through some of the work I need to get done. I'm half way through de-constructin...

Oooo I love the sunshine! It always makes everything feel better :) I've used my uplifted mood to get a fair amount done today (albeit rather boring work!). I gave my father his presents and cooked a yummy Sunday lunch, then served up s...

I think I agree with all of these. I wonder how things will be in 20-30 years time... by then all of the 'stick thin' 'celebrities' will have health problems too, so maybe thin wont be in then..!
I replied to your comment from a little while ago by the way, about Weston :)

You think 2 pieces of cheesecake would last? Not when I'm around they don't! :)

Hahaaa, I can't say I've been paying much attention to these celeb-wannabies. Although it's the very last one, it doesn't seem to have gained quite the media storm I was expecting (which is just as well really as it seems like we're all sick of it already!).

Hey TraceyJayne - We've found a couple of nice houses online in the Weston area (the fantastic Google lets us walk around without travelling anywhere!) but as we haven't been yet we're not sure what the different areas are like. Fingers crossed we'll have the house valued again this week so we can take a day to go down, but it's a lot of hassle because of our diabetic dog! I don't suppose you could give me an idea what any areas are like, ie. Worle, Milton, UpHill? Other than that, we're interested in Burnham but there are fewer houses to choose from there.

I've heard a fair bit about these in their advertisements and online (Moneysaving forums) but have never tried their food - I might have to treat everyone to one of these deals, sounds good. I just wish they'd bring out a 'lonely persons meal' for £5!
